It was a very, very, very good weekend, oh yes it was…

Saturday day: Waited for delivery, cleaned apartment. Woo. :P However, the rest of the weekend more than made up for it…

Saturday night: Dinner at Fatty’s Cafe. I had a jalapeno turkey burger with a side of grilled asparagus. Mmmmmm. Even the salad was tasty — your typical greens, a good vinaigrette, and apple slices.

Sunday: Bronx Zoo! Zoo zoo zoo! :) We saw lions and tigers and gorillas (uh, and bears) — oh, my! You can see some of my zoo photos here. We went to Tiger Mountain and the Congo Gorilla Forest — and will probably be going back over the summer (I want to see the Butterfly House).

Monday: Solo excursion to the Museum of Modern Art. A good day to go, as it was dismal and rainy. I’d wanted to see their Fashioning Fiction exhibit, and I also took a look at some of Dieter Roth’s work as well. I must confess, I’d never heard of him before, but I really like many of his Op Art pieces. (The chocolate pieces, not so much.)
