11 Dec 2008R and I are off today, as we’re having a party on Saturday night and need to clean. :) Came across a bit of news this morning that made me feel SO OLD: the baby on the cover of Nirvana’s “Nevermind” is SEVENTEEN YEARS OLD! Seventeen! OH MY GAWD. How time flies, eh?
We went with our friends F and K (thanks, guys!) to see “British Television Advertising Awards 2008: Award-Winning British Commercials.” The ads were amazing. :) All I’m going to say is, “Genesis meets a gorilla.” View them here! I sometimes feel like the Brits outdo us in terms of advertising, and last night was one of those times. We have some brilliant ads here in the States, but I feel like the U.K. simply has more of them. Feel free to discuss!
Short one today — need to get to cleaning.
